Sans la justesse de l'expression, pas de po├ęsie.

Without accurate expression, there is no poetry.

Birthdate:May 31

I take my name from the character of Brutus's wife in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. In real life, her name was Porcia Catonis, and the legend around her tells us she killed herself by swallowing live coals. The first time I read the play, I was stricken by her sad beauty. Eventually I played her in a production of the work; but I still do not truly understand her.

The most beautiful things in life are the smallest. As an amateur photographer it is my ideal to capture both the littlest things in life as well as the grandest things. I capture what I see. My poetry hopes to imitate life. Often life is dark.

I have heard many people refer to their journals as their "safe space." This is my first journal, and this is my safe space. I hope to have honest discussion without malice within it. Good intention is never enough.
